nicbrrghs
Might be a bit stupid asking this, what is the best way to stop this happening is it a case fitting a spacer or altering suspension settings. I weigh about 14 stone. Exhaust is rather thin and would rather not wear through it. Back tyre pressure at 5psi.
phb
nearly all beta's do this you can either put a couple of washers between the silencer and the frame to move the exhaust over a bit or just bend the bracket slightly on the frame if you go for the second option be careful. svleigh
You could always put some of the sticky carbon effect stuff on as a sacrificial protection and replace it periodically. I used washers too to off set the exhaust. cheers Leigh
stuessenhigh
Just slightly bend the bracket...(VERY easy to do)..you only need a very minimal ammount of bend to create lots of clearance on the exhaust.
02-apr
Having done all the bending and spacing and got fed up with replacing the sticky stuff I went to Trickbits and got a fibreglass cover that is the absolute cure.
betabonkers
Just slightly bend the bracket a bit, if you use washers to spacer it all your doing is pulling the top out and pushing the bottom in even closer to the tyre.
