shrub
Hi All Well ive got my money and have the chance of a 4 stroke 07, do you think this will be ok for a novice trials rider? I come from a moto X background but have only road 2 stokes. Looking for your advice yet again. Cheers Shrub
jonathan collier
For a novice I recon the 4T is perfect. You'll loose more marks ona 250 2T than the 4T. Learn the ropes and when you move upto clubman class think about a 2T but you'll probably keep the 4T for ever
nigel dabster
I think for a novice clubman a 2t would be easier to maintan and ride. Would hold its value better too? Avoid the 125 if you can unless you are trail riding. Edited April 15, 2008 by Nigel Dabster
austini
Why go a 250 4st the 200tys 4st is an ideal bike for a novice and beyond, and maintainance wise it's got to be one of the most reliable bikes around. Save yourself $$$$$ and go the baby scorpa!
shrub
Hi Guys Thanks for all your comments It looks like the scales are tipping towards the 4 stroke, maintenance wise im not worried as my best friend is a bike mechanic so I just need something that is going to get me round and more importantly that is available for me to buy in the next week or two so I can start having fun Keep the comments coming im going to send a deposit off the end of today then pick the bike up the following weekend, if all you feed backs good. john.b
Have you had a ride of either bike yet? It would be much better to have a test ride of both bikes to see what they are like before you part with your cash.
shrub
Hi Scudo No that is the thing that is bothering me a little, but I suppose if i dont know any better ill never know the difference and just learn to ride that machine. Does that sound mad?

cman
Get the 4 Stroke. I rode a 2 stroke for about a year and changed to the 4 stroke (Scorpa of course). Now when I ride any 2 stroke I dont feel comfortable. I am biased of course because I have an 07 250F.
