godzilla Posted April 18, 2008 Report Share Posted April 18, 2008 (edited) I am going to replace the headset bearings in my 05 sy as the steering is notchy. cant i get them from a bearings dealer (if so has anyone got a part number) or is it a birkets job? peterb Posted April 19, 2008 Report Share Posted April 19, 2008 Hi godzilla, You should be able to get these from a bearing supplier. Bottom bearing could be a bit tough to get off, may need a cold chisel to split the inner race. Pack with water proof grease, Mobil HP or similar.
