copemech Posted May 10, 2008 Report Share Posted May 10, 2008 I have seen some run the lighter flywheel, turned down about 5-6mm i think, to reduce the weight by about 1 pound. This does not cost a lot if you find a good machinist, but may not be for everyone. The j-peg half back pegs from RYP seem to be the ones of choice for the ones like Smage, me too! godzilla Posted May 10, 2008 Report Share Posted May 10, 2008 A Keihin carb is what you need, if you mess with the flywheel wheel it will make the bike useless for uk trials. why dont you call rathmells on 01423772885 someone there will be able to advise you. also have a look at what the new academy shercos and the paxau bikes have that yours has not.
