You have to have to remove the slide first and then if you hold your mouth just right you can slip the carb out. Just remember the the fuel line goes under the rear brake reservior. Did mine the other night, but you may as well remove the shock mounting (1 minute job) because its the last obstacle after removing, 'fender', silencer, alloy subframe and air box! The whole process still takes 20mins though Gents, believe me, it is a lot easier to get at the carb if you take the whole lot off [mudguard (3 screws) sub-frame(7 screws) air box (as subframe + 1 screw), silencer (part of screws that go with sub-frame) & shock bolt]. I had the whole lot off and back on in 1/2hr. Wouldn't like to do it other than in the comfort of my garage though! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
