willusher
I've got an old TLR 200 (as previously mentioned) - I know nothing about bikes in general and i've only ever owned this bike and used it to ride about my farm. I'm looking to sell it but have a question - how easily should these bikes start up? Should it be on the first kick as I can't get this start until i've kicked it several times. How can I go about fixing this other than change the spark plug? Also, should the kick start lever kick down onto the foot pedal? This doesn't seem right as i'm not getting the full rotation of the lever. Any help appreciated. Cheers.
motomike
Hi It sounds like you have the wrong kickstart,or maybe you have long footrest, the kickstart should miss the footrest, they usualy start reasonably easy, but a short swing wont help, hope this helps
