pillar
I just added the beta tank seat to my bike (05-rev3 270), now it's packing some extra poundage. I would like to stiffen it up a bit. Do I need special tools or can I do it easily without?? Thanks

bigfoot
You only need a C spanner, maybe two if you can't get the upper ring to loosen off the lower one.

copemech
I hate it when people beat the crap out of them like that! You would do less damage with some slip joint pliars covered with a wrag than beating and warping them. Get a proper pin spanner! And take the weight off the wheels when you do it! Or find someone with the proper tools!
