1sherco1 Posted June 19, 2008 Report Share Posted June 19, 2008 i keep getting told i`v got the front brake on when i lift the front wheel of the ground when its no evan over it i know when there new they stick a bit but iv had it for 5-6 weeks and still a bit sticky any ideas what it could be. cheers josh. scorpa3 Posted June 20, 2008 Report Share Posted June 20, 2008 Support the front wheel off the ground on a box or over a log etc and spin the wheel. When it spins try putting the brake on and off, if everything is working correctly, the wheel should stop instantly and move easily when the brake is released again. If the wheel doesn't spin freely, it could mean that the brakes are binding (which could be lever adjustment or a sticking piston) or that the wheel bearings are seized (which is less likely) or that some part of the wheel/tyre/disc is rubbing somewhere.
