mike harvey
The tyres on my Fantic 200 are totally shot and need replacing. I called into my local motorcycle tyre place and they told me neither Pirelli or Michelin makes a tubed type tyre any longer. When I asked what I could do since I have tubed type rims (Akront), all I got was a blank expression and a shrug of the shoulders. Thanks lads! Is it possible to run a tube inside a tubeless tyre? Please advise.

hightown
Hi, I have fitted tubeless tires to my 1979 bultaco shepra. My brother has also fitted them, Mine was a mitchel and he was a dunlop, they were a little tight to fit but have had no problems over 3 yrs. Hope this helps Eddie
scorpa3
Tube in a tubeless tyre, no problem. I use the old tubless tyres from my trials bike on my DRZ enduro bike for LDT's and never have a problem, just make sure the bead is seated on the rim properly. swooshdave
Michelin still makes the tubed tires. So does IRC. I've been told that you can put the tubeless Dunlops on with a tube, but I'd probably not want to take the tire irons to it myself.
