spudsdad
used iris chains for a few years on the lads bike with no problems ,fitted one to my gasser and had it snap within the 1st hours riding. told by bvm that it was from a dodgy heat treated batch. never trusted one since. currently using an izumi chain [available with half links] seems good so far. the addict
I witnessed surgeonrocher's Iris chain snap and it was a bad un, as well as a nasty cut to the arm and bike damage a full round of cucumber sandwiches got squashed on landing Clarkey was saving for elevenzees later in the morning. I would'nt use an Iris if they were giving them out free, just not worth the risk. Been using Izumi on the Mont and no probs at all Edited August 5, 2008 by The Addict
surgeonrocher
At least it was only the cucumber sandwiches & Pimms and not the Froi Gras & Krug Anyway Mr Addict you too could have such luxurys if you worked full-time. All these postings at 4.00pm..... How much cheaper is an Iris than the other brands?
