I leave them both in the boiler cupboard to warm them up, then use a hairdryer on full blast hot to warm them both up.

Then I get the centre line in place and use a cloth to smooth down the edges, while keeping the heat on it.

Would love to hear if there was a better way, as I get the opportunity to do quite a few between me and my lad.

I've heard of people using warm water, but I tried it once, a long time ago, and made a real pigs ear of it.

P.S. Before anybody comments, I borrow the hairdryer from my better half, she's not quite as bald as me :banana2:

Heat gun! (an over grown blow dryer)

Works like a champ. I have redecaled my bike and other bikes tons of times. (About 8)(i get board easy)

This week i am going with a super cool new look for the gasser. Stay tuned.

Heating it up will really help.

I was told by a body fitter for Bmw to soak stickers in luke warm soapy water and remove backing and soak again and apply as it wil adjust to fit perfect. Then work out the access water by rubbing with a cloth form center to outside.

I have done this serveral times and never had any problems, but do use an hairdryer to speed up the drying process.

Ok here are a few generations of my bike.

Orginally I went for the carbon fiber look. That is all decal...

Then i got board (no pun intended) with this and went for the knotty pine look. This was cheap contact paper and didn't last long.

So I went back to the carbon look but used a thicker material.

Then my roommate bought a gasgas and wanted to go orginal so we did it up in orange.

Being board with the whole Carbon thing. I thought that I would go way out there.

Thanks to a pint of boddingtons and a bit of help from Mr heat gun this is what I came up with.

I have already heard the school girl skirt jokes already.

Who knows how durable it will be but by then i will be board with it anyways.

I LIKE IT!!!

Biff has a winning combination of overactive imagination, enjoys change, and a get it finished attitude.

Methinks I need to redo the "Sherco of Death" I am getting Jealous of how good Biff's bike looks.
