copemech Posted August 24, 2008 Report Share Posted August 24, 2008 I do think there are pros and cons about the rider safety courses. You see, kids in many instances do not listen to dad! Dad may be a novice too! Trying to take up a healthy activity with the kids is a good thing, but how much does dad really know? All this from the simple perspective ov witnessing a number of fatal and near fatal incidents over the years, mostly caused by inexperienced idiots ! And many of them young wild kids! If the kids want to go crash their brains out on a MX track, then so be it! But on the common trails and areas used by many, it is very unsafe to act foolishly! And this does extend to pit areas!
