frontroomautos
I have a honda TLR200. I have removed the rear and front lights and battery but I want to also remove the ignition barrel & therefore the rest of the wiring loom from around the headstock so I can fit a number board where the headlight was. If I remove the wiring loom which is also earthed & connects to the coil wiring will it still run or will there be a short somewhere. Obviously CDI & coil wiring stays untouched but Can I also remove the regulator as is this only to regulate current to the lighting to stop bulbs blowing? If anyone has done this could you advise me please, thanks.
andy m
Disconnect the ign switch first as most Jap bikes will run when you do this. You don't need the regulator either I don't think. You will also keep the kill switch. Edited August 25, 2008 by bo drinker
frontroomautos
Just disconnect the ignition key barrel loom attatchment then? Do I need to re-earth anywhere?
