jandyb
Hello We were just admiring the back wheel on a Montesa the other day. The spoke and rim system is just brilliant! The question coming up was if it is possible to use a Mont rim and spokes on a GasGas hub? Anybody tried? -Jan

perce
OK then, I've got a Mont rear wheel, how do I alter it or what spacers do I use to fit my Gasser?

jandyb
Raga has.Its not that brilliant just different. I think brilliant because theres no holes in the rim and no problem with leaking rim tape. It also seems easyer to tighten the spokes? -Jan
subira
OK then, I've got a Mont rear wheel, how do I alter it or what spacers do I use to fit my Gasser? Keep your Mont disc side spacer as is, then nick a Sherco sprocket side spacer from Gerald or AG. Worked for me!
subira
I knew this had been the subject of an earlier thread, try here including pics http://www.trialscentral.com/forums/index....=2086&st=20 No need to change anything apart from the spacers. biffsgasgas
My roommate has taken his 2002 315r rim wheel tire disc and all and installed it on his 2004 300 pro. It was a direct swap. We didn't even need to adjust the spacers. The only major difference is that the montesa disc is floating where the gasgas's is not and the montesa sprocket uses 6 bolts instead of the 4 that gasgas uses. Both bikes have been like this all year with no issues. Plug and play! I am acutally jealous of that rim. I need to find me one. --Biff
