monoped
Hello Redrocket, TY250nl is absolutely correct the clurtch cover is from a 1973 KX450, a guy in my club has a KT with the KX clutch cover fitted, it fits directly onto the KT engine after the posilube pump is removed. The KX450 clutch cover makes the bike look trick and is narrower at the front section several people fitted them after they removed the oil pump. The red bike that you pictured was up for sale some time ago a welsh man claimed that it was an ex works bike, but it is not, as it has the window in the side panel to view the oil tank that was fitted to the standard bike (works bikes had bolt on panels or a seat tank unit) and a throttle cable that splits to the posilube pump plus other standard production features. woody
Still not convinced - look at a picture of a KX450 and compare the size of the clutch cover to the cover on the red bike. The KX cover is much bigger.
