Full tank of air and no valve 100% with a used tyre - might need two goes now and again with a brand new one. Try and store the tyres with the bead turned out -helps get a mechanical seal with the rims so compressor can blow it up. theres numerous ways to get tyres on, but as a simple device the beader cant be beaten. Any other method requires this or that, we have put a michelin on a rim with a foot pump using a beader.
jimmyl
Just watched the zip tie method on you tube . if that’s the easy way I don’t want to see the hard way ? as part of our 2 day trials training camp I do a tyre change and some basic maintenance . its surprising what as well travelled riders we take fiir granted that the newcomer has no idea about . remeber y&g having a tyre change comp in club night - it was a tubed rear off the bike . think glen scholey or maybe john Lampkin doing it in under 3 mins - security bolts and all!!
