axulsuv
Hi all , I've just obtained a set of 12.5 inch eye to eye long telesco shocks from a forward mount sherpa ... I got them to go on my boys TY80 big wheel project as the dimensions are perfect ... But they are not in hand yet , and the seller said the seals leak abit ... So before I get a set of falcons built for this experiment , does anybody know if seals are available for these old shocks ? Or do I disassemble them , measure the seals and pray I can duplicate them ...! Thanks , Glenn

peterb
Hi ax, I don't know what S.O.L. means. There may be a chance of locating hydraulic seals that are similar or the same as the Telesco damper units from a hydraulic seal outlet, they would have to be for sliding stem as distinct from a rotating shaft. I haven't heard of any seals being available for these shocks. Bye, PeterB.
