irishjohn
I just finished putting my '76 KT 250 back together, however I can't get her to run. Rather she starts 2nd kick, runs about 10 seconds with the choke on then quits. I've tried fiddling with the mixture setting, no luck. Good spark, good fuel supply to the carb. Suggestions?? feetupfun
If it runs with the choke on, then there is fuel getting to the float bowl. If it stops when you turn the choke off, then either the pilot jet or the main jet or both jets are blocked. You haven't given enough info to differentiate/diagnose further.
