tom1 Posted November 4, 2008 Report Share Posted November 4, 2008 as the tiltle really, thinking of a rev 3 with a long ride kit so i can use it for a bit of green lanning too, anyone got one or ridden one? any problems etc, i've heard that they dont like being held open and revving for longer periods, they prefr to be oprned up and shut off , this true? totalshell Posted November 4, 2008 Report Share Posted November 4, 2008 probably the best guide to green laning on a rev3 are JL thoughts on bike prep for the scottish.. gear up a bit to preserve the engine.. clearly the things not designed to run all day flat out so not too much road work but with apporpriate use of the throttle ( not rolling it off as you coast down long hills or keeping it pinned as you try and catch a cbr 600) should see it okay.. do you ride with a petrol station every 20 miles or does the LR kit include some way of incresing the fuel capacity..
