ohno
Does anyone out there know the clearance spec for an 2008 Beta Rev 4T? It is time to adjust the valves and I can not find the clearance specification. I have also noticed that when low on fuel in the tank the bike may suddenly stall. As soon as I top the tank up this glitch goes away. Anybody else notice that?

ohno
I've been told that you need to rotate the engine to do the valves. I need the spec.s

madmostin
Any tips on checking and adjusting valves. Sounds like the whole thing needs taking apart.
nzralphy
Undo the engine mounts and top bolts on the front engine support bars and rotate the engine with the rad in place. 0.1 and 0.15 sounds about right and I did the adjusters up snug on the shim. My bike has developed a little too much head noise and can feel a set of valve guide coming on. ...another guy on this site had the same problem a while back and am wondering if the early bikes had a design issue with them
