deaniii
okay, i'm lucky & have gotten to ride three trials this fall on my new to me reflex tlr200. I love it & don't know how i've managed to stay away 8 years. i've had the team at B&J RACING do my clutch, footpegs relocation/ widening, 6" renthals & awesome skid plate fabrication. me & FLEX get along better each ride, but the carb is really lacking. i am unable to get an idle that is spot on...too slow or too fast - not the easiest starting 4 stroke either, my old TL250 was better on hot starts if i recall correctly - it did have a 20mm carb on it BTW. iS THERE A FIX??? ALSO, i'm big boned : ) - approx 290 lbs with gear on???? where can i get hold of springs that will find the relex punishe d a bit less by my fat a***? thanks - it's good to be back, dean tennessee, usa
not ron
If it has a standard productin carb fit Honda part number 16012-KJ2-004, needle and jet. These carbs all seem to be wearing about now and this always seems to fix the idle stability. It is the same part number for 250 and

mcman56
Opening up the pilot jet slightly will improve the idle. To stiffen the front fork, I cut off the tightly wound piece and then set preload to about 1". I only weigh 155 and this works for me. It does not coil bind.
