somerset steve Posted December 1, 2008 Report Share Posted December 1, 2008 Hi All. Have just finished re-building my Fantic 200 engine. All good so far. Put kick start on when engine on bench. Kicks over with no nock or stick. However when i turn it over on the fly wheel i get a click from the kick start area. As i have no manual i can not be sure how the kick start mechanism works. How does it disengage? what position should the ratchet be in on the kick start shaft? Second little issue. Head gasket, in the gasket kit i got to re-build the engine with there were 2 head gaskets. 1 with cut outs in it that position on to the head bolts. The second is just a round ring.
