ron Posted December 8, 2008 Report Share Posted December 8, 2008 contact your importer.. the initial stick is ...glass smooth plates sticking together , The fix.. Well the answer to initial take off is to gas the bike and put in second .. not first seems to give a quick release from stickage.. as far as releasing at idle .. it is imperative you have free play .. if you have run in adjuster too far then you will need a new pump rebuild kit.. and be sure to have free play or the oil cannot be picked up . Should cure it.. If it has been this way since 03 . basket may not be perfect .. and need a shim adjustment at clutch .. which is explained in the manual I believe ...
