swooshdave
A couple pictures from some riding we got in today. The Montesas were a little finicky. One started fine cold but the idle was a little high. As soon as I dropped the idle down it wouldn't start. I think it maybe a too small of a pilot jet. It has a nicely resleeved Amal 627. It should have stock jets. Plenty of compression tho'. The 123 is a hoot to ride but too small for me. It feels like my elbows are going to hit my knees. But with the bigger wheels it's a killer setup. Weighs almost nothing. Not a bad way to spend an afternoon. Beats working. Alan_nc's M92. Needs a rear muffler but otherwise rides fine. Oh, maybe different bars. Anyone want to guess the mods on this bike? l to r: swooshdave, Elroy, Alan_nc, mjfriesen I would have brought one of my bikes but they wouldn't have fit in my suitcase. And I think the airlines have a weight limit that a Bultaco will easily exceed. Edited December 21, 2008 by swooshdave
mjfriesen
We should have taken some action shots, but i guess we were all having too much fun riding! Or maybe it was exhaustion from kicking the late 247 to much.

mjfriesen
Belews Creek, which is between Stokesdale and Winston-Salem. Beautiful land, great terrain to ride on.
