james_taylor
was thinking of getting my 125 sherco on the road rather then buying another bike, wouldnt really use it for long journeys, just to a locally on 30mph roads, i allready have passed a CBT so i wont have to have a specific bike to do that on the law is that i have to have a maximum 125cc with no more then 33bhp does anyone know what the sherco has? its 2008 Thanks for any help
feetupfun
Way less than 33 BHP. I would estimate about 15 BHP.
trialsnutterman
check the power to weight ratio, you may find it's miles over
tt5th
The sherco will be well under 33bhp but the power to weight may be an issue. Taken from the DirectGov Website; "and a power/weight ratio not exceeding 0.16 kW/kg" At a rough guess taking the weight as 68kg and the power at 15bhp that makes a power to weight of 0.164... Nicely on the limit!
