Hi Guys,

Let me introduce myself

Luka is the name and living in the south of the Netherlands very close to Germany and Belgium.

I always liked trail and trailbikes but when I was 18 I chose for HORSEPOWER and SPEED and ended up with the fastest machines around.

Now I am somewhat older I have had it more or less with 300+ KM/h and drive a very nice 2001 Honda VFR 800 Fi, which I bought new and is still in "New Condition".

A while ago I bought a 2001 Montesa 315 R.

Like said, I always like trail and also like to fiddle around at my bikes, but my VFR is just so perfect..not much to fiddle around except for cleaning.

Fiddling around on the Monty is a bit of therapy...

Why a Monty..? It is Honda and I have always like Honda. I had the opportunity to buy this one or a 4 RT which was somewhat younger but also more expensive

I also like the 2stroke engine and as I am a newbie in Trials I thought it would make more scence to start with something older and cheaper.

I saw a Belgian guy training with an old Pre-65 BSA, magnificient what he could do with that old Lady. But I don't think I can do that with my 315R.......the bike isn't the problem.....

I am a technical guy and daily working with technics.

I have started to service the Monty but I think I will end up with rebuilding and modifying it. Not that it is in such a bad condition, but I like things to be checked, cleaned, greased, oiled, adjusted etc. My bikes have to be in good condition

I have read some great stuff on this forum about the technics of the Monty.

I hope I can add some valuable to these posts, preferably with pics as there are not so many pics on this forum.
