jeffski07
Hi Guys my names Jeff, and i am thinking of taking up trials. I currently jetski, freestyle on a stand up about 7 years now. Todays economy has swung me, where building a freestyle ski is big money, You cannot buy one new unlike a trials bike, where its ready to trial straight out the showroom. Any advise on what bike to buy ?, second hand for starters. I am 39 years old, 5 feet 7 inches, and 11 stone, any advise on the right bike for me would be gratefull. Thanks for any feedback Jeff. bingo
hey, shouldn't have asked which bike to buy, you will get many different answers. do you have a budget? do you want a 2 stroke or 4 stroke? my advice is to test ride as many bikes as you can, they all feel different! good luck! copemech
The bikes are all the same size really, adjustments on bars and such make them feel different. Some weigh a bit more than others, but your first advice seems sound, a good clean bike should do you well to learn on! A good rider on a less powerful bike will beat the lessers at the end of the day! A Beta 200 or 250 comes to mind, or a nice Scorpa TY! b40rt
You would probably be better asking which not to buy. Most well looked after bikes will give you endles hours of fun. Try and buy a bike from an older rider who polishes it more than rides it !
jeffski07
Sound advise, I always tried to buy jetski"s that spent more time on dry land. The well used sea ski"s were always cream crackered. So i am after a Beta Rev 3 25occ 2 stroke, that still smells like new. Wheres Santa when you need him. Thanks Jeff.
