wayne_weedon
I am looking for standard sized rings and am struggling to find them apart from with new piston kits. Any ideas appreciated Have you tried a Yam main dealer? Poole motorcycles maybe? Not sure if you are In Blandford or just from Blandford. I knew of a place in the Alderholt area that did Just rings mainly for the vintage scene. I think they basically had all the stock from when Wellworthys at Ringwood closed down. If you are still stuck I'll try find out who they were. Wayne.... Edited January 3, 2009 by wayne_weedon

woody
Generally, Yamaha don't sell piston kits, the components are sold individually so if it is a genuine Yamaha piston you shouldn't have any problem getting just a set of rings. As already mentioned try a Yam main dealer. Nigel Birkett should also be able to help if they are for a trials bike and may even have some in stock - he does for a 320 Majesty for example (you don't mention which bike)
wayne_weedon
cheers wayne I am living in the barracks at Blandford and dont know the area that well, any help is appreciated Ah a squaddie! OK I'm guessing the closest Yam main dealer is Poole Motorcycles. Poole Motorcycles Ltd, 138 Stanley Green Road, Poole, Dorset, BH15 3AH, U.K. Tel. (01202)670023 Fax. (01202)669734 Easy to find, just further down the same road as B&Q. Not been there for a long time, but they at least used to be helpful. Other than that there may be one in Dorchester. Wayne.....
