trialsnewby
Hello. This is MY FIRST topic on this Forum! Ive already read a whack of them, so far your site is pretty great! So, this is my first trials bike. Im not sure WHAT it is. So far, from what ive read, its a 1976 Yamaha TY 175C. Can anyone confirm that? The # at the front is 525-150***. Im planning on restoring it to NEW condition! Ive owned a few dirt bikes, but ive so much fun with trials in the past that I figured I should hurry up and get one. Also, can anyone tell me where I might find a Manual download for it? I really want to do the repairs on my own so a manual would help. swooshdave
Where are you located at? Yes, there was a PDF of the manual that you can download. The website that was hosting it apparently didn't renew their site. I should have the files somewhere, give me a little time to dig them up. They're archived somewhere. There are some serious TY experts here, no decent question will go unanswered.

eddie_lejeune
looks like the previous user, was using it for road riding, pretty irrelevant but id change those bars if you plan to use it for trials

swooshdave
Ya, the sissy bar is leaving and the original seat will be back soon! Any luck finding that manual?? It's on a disk or DVD, probably at work. Don't worry, I won't forget. I know my cousin has a copy of the files too. btw, you may be able to see the headlight and finance most of the restoration. Were not going to be putting it on the road, strictly for off road use! So we wont really need the headlight. Think its worth something?? Think its worth something?? Don't throw it away. Found the manual. Have it online in a while. Check back here later. 45MB, hope you're not on dial-up. Good news is that it's in sections.
