rayneedham
Hello I recently bought a 2002/3 Rev50 for my Grandson, the question I have is regarding the cooling fan? The fan seems to run almost constantly, I've removed the temperature sensor from the block and it seems to be ok, I also put a meter across this and even at low ambient temperatures (3oC) I got a constant voltage across this. Does anyone know if this is a normally open or closed circuit, should the fan be running constantly even ehrn the engine is cold? Thanks Ray
fellonmelug
Try a resistance check across the sensor at 30 degrees C it should be open circuit or infinity ohms , if not you should replace the sensor
ashbabble
My son's fan was running all the time yesterday and when I checked, the rad was cold - soooooo - it had no coolant in. Sounds silly but have you checked? Cheers
