jeffski07
Hi Guys, I am new to trials and a friend has offered me his 280 txt pro 2003. I was looking for a Beta Rev 3 200 or 250. My problem is the gas gas feels very powerfull for a newbie, can it be geared different or any other tweeks ? Also I am 5 feet 7inches, 11 stone very late thirties. The Beta feels alot smaller to ride,or can the Gas Gas be adjusted to someone my size ? I here the 125cc gas gas is a great bike any vibe on this ? Thanks for any feedback. Jeff. james_taylor
i dont think a 125 cc would be powerfull enough, to tame it a bit you could just fit a slow action throttle and change the sprokets around

docheckle
I started on a 280 txt in my late thirtys, despite being told after I bought it ,it was too much. Love it to bits never ridden trials before I got on this.
jeffski07
Thanks for reply guys. I think if he lets me before buying, I will try a slow throttle and change the gearing. Any vibes on the Beta Rev 3 or are you Gas Gas lovers only ? Thanks Jeff.
slapshot 3
Post in Beta thread deleted, please don't make duplicate posts, this thread moved to a more suitable place forum Moderator Best response you'll get it to try as many different bikes as you can and narrow down from there. What suits us may not be what you're after. I ride a Beta and find it suits me better than anything else; try them all first
