trial_master
I have been away from trials for the last 2 years (ish) but I am now going to be buying another bike soon but would like to sort some transport out first. I am looking to buy a small van, ideally would be the Ford Connect LWB. My question is, what small vans do you guys use to carry trials bikes? davyb
Hi Ive got a swb and i can fit two bikes in, although i have to put a front wheel between the seats if carrying two.At the moment ive fitted a rear seat in and just carry the one bike.I would say that a lwb with a high top would be better saying that they are a better price! The van its self does every thing i need, very robust. hillary
I've got a long wheelbase Connect and have had it for six years. You can get two bikes in easily, three at a squeeze and it's brilliant. Can't fault it for ride, comfort and driveability. It's not very rapid, but I've got the lowest powered van and that's plenty quick enough for me. Anyway, what's the difference in arriving three minutes later after 100 miles!
