kasti
First of all a big hello from Slovenia! I'm a rookie in trial world and I don't have many experience. I bought a 2nd hand Cota 4RT (year 2005) from Spain. Bike runs fine but still something is bothering me: It's a bit hard to shift up between gears, especialy from 2nd to 3rd. After the motor gets warmer it's a little bit better but still... no smooth shifting (like on my other bike Beta REV3). Shifting down is not so hard. There is also hard to find neutral. What could be the problem? PS: Sorry for my poor english!
jimmyl
2005 model 4rts did not have the best clutch plates -swap for 2006 onwards. Also check gear oil -change for ATF or the expensive elf oil. maybe do oil first as is the cheapest. If you do swap clutch plates only buy the friction plates -will cost about
kasti
Thanks! I'll first try with ELF HTX 740 and than we'll see if there will see if the shifting is any smoother.
