orange250
This may sound a bit of an obvious one, but i thought undo the 4 pinch bolts and the spindle would come out from one side? Dont want to introduce the hammer just yet Thought the allen key end might undo but just seems to turn. help please
baldilocks
One end of the spindle screws into the other, leave the pinch bolts tight on the right side and undo the pinch bolts and spindle from the disc side. THen undo the pinch bolts on the right and tap the spindle through, you need a socket the size of the OD of the spindle to avoid damaging the threads Edited January 31, 2009 by Baldilocks
lowbrow
Tighten the pinch bolts again on the disc side and undo and remove the allen socket headed retainer. Undo the pinch bolts and push the spindle through from the brake side using your fingers until you have enough to grab hold of the spindle and pull from the other end. That's assuming it was nice and greasy when it was put in
