stuessenhigh
It probably depends HOW white it is. But dont panic..mine comes out SLIGHTLY milky every time. Probably because there is some condensation created in the engine??...and I think because of the very high humididty in Hong Kong. BUT as far as I am aware..it has done no harm to by Beta Rev3.....YET!!...I do change the oil about every 3 to 4 weeks though...as a precaution to the humidity here. jtt
Have you recently put the bike in deep water? If so, this is the culprit and nothing to worry about. Just drain it and flush a couple of times with clean oil and check it after deep water excursions
the artist formerly known as ish
I think it's time for a water pump seal and/or water pump shaft bearing, also while it's out check for wear on the water pump saft were the lip seal of the pump seal contacts the shaft, over time that little rubber lip seal wears the shaft just enough to let a little coolant pass. Don't worry this is not a big job or expensive, but if you are not sure or feel it's beyond you, have someone else do it. Parts needed will be seal, bearing, impeler shaft, case gasket. jonh
Just done mine on the 02 200 Pro. As others say the shaft can wear just where the seal sits. My shaft had a rusty band around it. Whilst your at it change the impeler if its worn ? JonH
madmax
This is a well documented problem on the 2002 PRO's.......The impellor shaft was made out of poor material and wears quickly.....GG has a update kit made out of brass that fixes the problem.......
