billyt Posted February 6, 2009 Report Share Posted February 6, 2009 (edited) Hey guys. It is an oil reservoir bottle. It is used to cool down the oil/nitrogen in the rear shock. They put it up front away from the engine heat, and also likely due to there being little room under the seat etc. There is probable another one on the other side of the down tube if it is a twin shock.
