andy m
Not of much interest to this 45 year old either. So much unwanted info, would be a good idea to opt out. I am sure if there are talk of new/ changed rules it would soon crop up on here.

paul w
what about being able to down load the handbook? you could stipulate download on the licence application.
andy m
what about being able to down load the handbook? you could stipulate download on the licence application. Good idea. Choose your sport and download required book. No need for all that other scrambling and road racing mumbo jumbo and save some trees. Jobs a good un. If John Collins is looking in maybe worth bringing up next time you're up there Edited February 9, 2009 by bo drinker
scorpa3
We'd all still have to have a set of the generic rules, lists of officials, costs, procedures and the National Sporting Code. I'd make a bet that it would cost a lot more to seperate the disciplines that it does to put them all in one book as now. And remember, it is important that every competitor has the chance to read the rules so that they can sign on to ride an event. I think it's a fair system, the cd version might suit some people fair enough, but it would mean the Clerk of the Course would have to take a lap top to the event to read it if needed. neils on wheels
I always tick "CD" and get sent a book anyway! Scorpa3 is right, club officials need a printed copy to take to events, but most of us could just have a CD. That way we have more trees left to ride trials around :-)

pete_scorpa3
Got lucky this year Andrew, got neither Mine came today, judging by the snow you've had over at your manor, your book is still sat in a drift somewhere, stuck to a block of ice
john collins
I have covered this many times before - so will not go over it all again. The only valid point some of you are making is that dupication ( getting more than 1 book is a waste) and that is true - but there will always be hiccups , especiallty when sent out by outside contractors etc - but - if it apears to be a major problem, rather than a fairly small number , then this needs to be looked at. But it is the numbers that are important. Not really a lot of good spending for example
