trialsrfun
When using the Norton Roadholder lower fork legs how are you anchoring the brake plate. Are you using a brake plate with a lug that engages in the slot between the raised alloy bars on the fork leg or a bolted on metal strip, presumably to the two bolts that secure the mudguard stay. If using a brake plate with a raised lug to engage in the fork leg, which hub/brake plate is most suitable. subira
Use a 'trunion' to the mudguard stay seems to be the most popular.
charlie prescott
Hi Guy's Hi TRF. I think Subira, is right use the mudguard bolt holes, because I have a leg with the slot, and the presure of braking has cracked the leg, from between the slot to the seal holder boss. this was probably done with a large road brake in the fork, but they do seem suspect. So pulling from the two holes from the mudguard bolts seems the best idea. Regard,s Charlie.

daved444
This might help you - Alan Witton did this front end for my cub for me and it worked superbly (in fact I kept the same set up on my Sprite and Ariel bikes that followed) Dave Edited March 1, 2009 by DaveD444
