gomey68
Hi all, I have a M49 serial # M49005##, I believe it to be a so called series one. I need help with the correct rear brake lever and foot rest choice. As you can see in the pics the bracket for the rear brake lever seems to be behind the frame at foot rest level. I am thinking for this it is a long solid steel type? Any pics would help me locate one. The footrests I have seen can be the fixed platform type or the newer flip up type. Again any pics of the correct type to help me locate a set would be appreciated. Any information or chat about the M49 would be great! Thanks, :-) FRAME TOP RIGHT= FRAME TOP LEFT= REAR BRAKE FRAME BRACKET= LEFT SIDE VIEW=
feetupfun
Here is what my series 1 M49 brake lever looks like. ID number is M4900100. This bike has been fitted with folding pegs to meet safety standards in competition, but it came standard with the fixed footpegs. I'm assuming you know what the fixed pegs look like. If not I can post a photo showing the original pegs.

trial pat
Hy, standard footpegs are too high. more down and rear is better. Have a look on my pegs. bought a folding kit at car park SSDT 2003, but only made them in 2008 M4900060 from my dad Mark, bought 6 December 1968. lever is still original, but had to adjust a bit for lower pegs. fotos speak more http://www.twnclub.ch/classic_trial_files/...estauration.htm regards Swiss Pat
