wayne_weedon
As much as I'd love to be working on the bikes, and you probably know I'd rather be doing that. The end of month is looming. Which in my game means just one thing. PANIC! Not sure if I ever posted a picture of the old dog. But heres the only one I have from when I had just bought it in bits and threw it together to see if it was all there. You will notice the absence of a chain! There was no point doing anything once that flaw had been noticed. All I did I think, was order new mudguards there and then from Sandifords. Knowing that they'd be almost impossible to get when I found the "roundtuit". Still here and still wrapped up. Wayne.... picture was scanned from an old faded print. I didn't have a digital camera back in 95. Edited November 23, 2009 by wayne_weedon
thedktor
Some challenges then for you Wayne, keep us posted how you get on. I owe you guys an update on my Mont 349 rebuild, which is going painfully slowly unfortunately! - Steve
wayne_weedon
Not much actually done this w/e so it's going to have to wait a bit. Getting ready for a quick trip to Madrid to see some trials friends. Did however measure the taper on the damaged shaft and it's 5.
johnh
What is the process for rebuilding shocks? I have stripped the marzzochi's off my 123 Montesa and am tryin to decided whether it would be cheap to repaint and assemble my self or just buy some new ones. Depends if they are built to be dismantled and serviced. Many are not.
