scott_king
The JJ Cobas looks like a normal bike. Normally these rare manufacturers have something special about what was different about these then?
gasgas249uk
The JJ Cobas looks like a normal bike. Normally these rare manufacturers have something special about what was different about these then? There was nothing really special about them , its just that they are so rare and never seen. Now they probably werent the best bike around , thats for sure , or maybe they were to expensive , or the company management was sh*t. The engine looks like a Montesa unit. Can anyone with Montesa knowledge confirm this or not?. Ive never seen one anyway , and would bet there's only a few in existance. Pity , id have one

pedronicman
I was in Barcelona last december and took this- It is not a std bike with the unusual chain drive sytem crossing from one side of the bike to the other it also had monoshock rear suspension and unusual disc brakes wich most bikes did not have any of at the time so it is not 'a normal bike'!!!! duckwizard
Gasgas249 you got the dragonfly ?. I still have my skywalker but need to find a sticker kit if anyone can help. Or a decent photo of tank sides to copy stickers may be of some use. Also had sticker set for Cagiva DG350, they have been lost in the painting process, painter lost my stickers . so if anyone can help here that would be appreciated. Maybe get one of them finished. the observer
The JJ Cobas looks like a normal bike. Normally these rare manufacturers have something special about what was different about these then? The JJ Cobas had: disc brakes when all others still had drums could be fitted with a Montesa, Bultaco or Ossa engine monoshock when the other were just thinking about it single backbone frame when all others had cradle type frames jackshaft final chain drive to eliminate torque on the rear suspension only 9 or 10 were ever built they were good enough to win the Spanish Championship Antonio Cobas was one of the great MC designers of all time. Honda GP team, Montesa frame designer, made his own 250 GP bike
