dave dix
Hi, anyone know if there are any other type of piston that can be used as tarabusi o/sized are getting hard to find. My 247 is on std but with a lot of wear so it may have to be bored to its 2nd o/s which, i think , is 73.5mm and i cant find a piston to fit that doesn't cost a small fortune or one that does!!! wayne_weedon
Have you tried the usual UK and Spanish sources? The USA and Italy is often worth a try too. But I don't know anything that is interchangeable or close. Wayne...

(http://www.southwestmontesa.com/) When I rebuilt my 247, about a year ago, he was working on modifying a batch of Bultaco pistons, to fit as 1st oversize, in the 247. I was fortunate in being able to go with standard size, so didn't have to wait, and see if he was succesful, or not.
