Different Lines For Different Grades

Do they have different lines for the different grades over in the UK now? As I seem to remember (possibly unreliably) that there was one line for all, in the early eighties, when I used to live in the UK. This was in the Cheshire and North Wales Centre and may differ for other areas. :o

Between 1980 and 1983, Colwyn, Wrexham, Denbigh & Mold, CYTC and some Manchester 17, Wirral 100 and Oswestry events. Most of the time I was riding A class schoolboys. Highlight was a Manchester 17 British Youth Round in 1981 were Steve Saunders blew everyone away.

Must have been riding in those days but normal Congleton, Crewe, Man17 and the club I am involved with now Macclesfield which in those days would be called Hyde DMC.

Man 17 are having a reunion some time this year of all old members, but perhaps a little to far to travel.

I am pretty sure he was on the Blue Bultaco 250.

I got the name of the club wrong it was Congleton and District that ran the trial. I still have the program and the results (sad eh), Steve finished on 11, R.Kerridge was 2nd on 46 and D.Leather was 3rd on 49. My Mum & Dad said I should have watched, as Steve was unbelievable. It's amazing that he didn't pick up a world title somewhere along the way. :D:D
