Does anyone know the origins of this swinging arm?

I think its an aftermarket item as it weighs a lot less than a standard mk1 and mk2 mar swinging arm, is brazed instead of welded and is approx 60mm longer than a standard swinging arm

Looks pretty like a Gripper Arm with its horns cut off and new shock mounts fitted. As well as a few other additional bosses.

Just taken and attached a couple pictures of the swinging arm from the Gripper I have just stripped down a bit to compare.
