grantsherco
Hi There, My Sherco brake wasn't great so I sanded down the pads and checked the pistons, one side seemed to be moving a hell of a lot more than the others. (is that normal) I put it back together and it is worse than ever despite 3 goes at bleeding using the usual procedure. If I pull hard enough the lever will touch the handle bars and I can rock the bike fine with it pulled in half way. This is driving me insane, any help appreciated. Maybe I need a new seal kit????Padss?? Thanks Grant
kevc
sounds like one of the pistons is stuck, if your competant strip the caliper down and clean everything and rebuild with new seals, it's not very hard to do and should cure your problem
tony27
Before you go pulling anything apart it may pay to check that there is free play at the lever so that piston is coming back past port, if port gets masked by piston due to over adjustment you can end up with some strange problems
