dixie
My mates tlr 200 had a spot of bother at the exmoor trial last sunday. The kick start seemed to seize , after rocking the bike it all looked ok then when the bike started it sounded as though the starter dog was still partially engaged (heavy metalic rattle corrisponding to engine revs), After partial strip yesterday it has become apparent that to get to the starter gear the motor will require a total strip. ANY ADVICE would be greatly appreciated, hopefully a magic quick fix , but i think its all got to come apart
paul w
haynes manual, and the honda tool for removing the clutch nut and the oil spinner nut. very easy engine to work on. i think from memory they used to break a bit of case of the inside near the kick start, but its been a few years.
