uncle_dave
What protective gear do people wear when trials riding? Just looks like helmet, gloves and boots to me. Why don't people wear more, is there really no need? Thanks for your advice Uncle Dave.

stork955
I wear Knee and Elbow protectors as well as helmet, gloves and boots. They get used a bit with my skill level... Cheers, Stork
maude
Plastic armour breaks and stays broken, skin and bones heal. Only kidding, I use helmet, boots, gloves and knee protectors. In the winter I've found snowboarding trousers are useful, waterproof and a bit of padding.
toothandnail
I wear quite alot, I'd rather ride worse today , tomorrow, the day after that , and the day after that ECT. ECT. ,than wait several weeks between excellent rides while something or other heals. So far I've not found any good riding places that are also good for the occasional dirt nap for some strange reason all the rocks at my riding areas are kinda hard.
