fivemeister
with the choice of one or the other what does each bike bring to the party? Only difference I can see is the extra low down torque / power of the 300. It's quite civilised really until you spin it up and then it wants to pull your arms out of the sockets and the front wheel lifts easily. (3rd gear big climbs are a blast) I think its same as any big capacity trials bike, go for the 250 if you are an inexperienced rider (which will do pretty much everything the 300 can with less chance of getting caught out with the extra oomph) I'd reckon any half decent novice would find the 300 OK Edited April 5, 2009 by Fivemeister
rlracer
I had 250 in 07, another 250 in 08 that I put a 300 kit on and bought a EVO 300 in 09. Both are good I just like the extra umff the the 300 has. Is there a chance you can get a go on one from a local rider ?
jsp
i have only had my 08 300 rev4 for 6 weeks now but its fantastic to ride grips like you wouldnt belive, nice plush supension, good brakes, best bike i have had in along time. i tried the 250 and thought it was a bit short on power. jsp Edited April 5, 2009 by jsp
benbeta23
In my opinion i prefer my dad's 250 to the 300 which i have ridden, the 250 is just nicer & calmer to ride with plenty of power, i found the 300 very aggresive and a bit to much power.
