The bike has alloy rims and enfield forks (i Think) Can anyone suggest alternative shocks, swingarm,ignition. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. subira Posted November 8, 2004 Report Share Posted November 8, 2004 I'm not sure what works best on a standard frame, but the Falcon units are pretty good, can be built to suit your length, damping and spring rate requirements. I think they need a longer swinging arm to grip better and give more clearance for a 4.00 x 18 rear tyre. There's a few people that do a conversion - Ray Small at Cub Mods can help you. The best ignition is to use PVL, requires the cases to be machines to suit - its also the most expensive. There are cheaper alternatives that will get you a reliable spark though - ditto above Like any motor sport, its just a case of how much you want to spend. Just finishing my own Cub project, the budget is blown to bits, think of a number double it and then add some more.
