old trials fanatic
What a difference a month makes. After Round 2 at Dudwood farm being arguably the hardest trial that Peak Classic Trials Club has ever organised Round 3 at Stathams Farm on Sunday 26/04/09 turned out to be possibly the easiest event the club has run. With the forecast rain not arriving till after the event had finished the sections proved to be a little easier than intended but because of this concentration not to have a needless dab was the order of the day. With the event also a round of the East Midlands Centre Classic Championship with points scored counting for both this and the club Championship meaning the pressure was on. The Expert British Bike class was won by Pete Carson out on his BSA Bantam giving it a shake down prior to the Scottish Pre65. Derek Carson won the British Bike 50/50 class on his James and Pete
